Just seen these - not something we've done or seen before and I guess its something a design student has come up
with rather than a commercially available product - Concrete USB falsh drives - and apparently they come in a range of different weights but why I'm not sure - perhaps the suggestion is they can be used to help weigh our ingrediants or perhaps you can test how far your can throw each different weight.As an idea they are certainly novel but a flash drive weighing 128g is a beast and not something you're going to lose in a hurry but having said that I'm not sure you'll want to carry it with you in a hurry in the first place!
As an idea or concept its great and you can perhaps see a construction or aggregate company that are looking for a custom flash drive using them for the novelty factor. Certainly a lttle different and certainly something that will grab peoples attention the first time they see them.
